Meditation has to do with getting in touch with the efficiency of the here and now. The method we teach it, it's extremely grounded. You sit straight and still, observe, release, return, and find the abundant fullness of the present moment. Since you're not succumbing to distractions, you have the space to connect with your mind's imagination and become aware of the stream of ideas and emotions it produces. And what are you going to do about these thoughts and emotions? You're going to acknowledge them without succumbing to fascination or frustration, and let them merely go back to where they originated from, like a wave that develops and naturally and undoubtedly combines back into the sea.
